The Turn of the Screw

Uma jovem governanta, Ann, é enviada a uma casa de campo para cuidar de dois órfãos, Miles e Flora. Logo após sua chegada, Miles é expulso do internato. Embora encantada com seu jovem pupilo, ela secretamente teme que haja razões sinistras por trás de sua expulsão. Com Miles de volta em casa, a governanta começa a notar figuras etéreas perambulando pelos jardins da propriedade. Desesperada para aprender mais sobre esses avistamentos sinistros, ela descobre que as circunstâncias suspeitas em torno da morte de seu antecessor têm implicações sombrias para ela. À medida que ela fica cada vez mais temerosa de que forças malévolas estejam perseguindo as crianças, a governanta está determinada a salvá-los, arriscando a si mesma e sua sanidade no processo.
